The Stockton Chamber Players, re-instituted in 2013, is modeled on an ensemble that existed as part of The Richard Stockton College’s Performing Arts Program from 1975-1997. As its name might suggest, the Stockton Chamber Players is designed to be both flexible in size and instrumentation. The primary goal of the ensemble is to engage Stockton music faculty as well as professional musicians from the community to contribute to a series of high-level, public performances each semester. Repertoire includes music of all styles (i.e., classical, jazz, vocal genres, etc.) and is designed to bring heightened awareness to Stockton’s music program through on-campus and community-based performances. In the latter capacity, the Stockton Chamber Players serves as a cultural ambassador for the college.
